Hey all my fellow Com 531 comrades! I have already ordered my books for next semester, and I found out something interesting. When I went to order the Vasey book, I found it very difficult to find here in the US. However, Dr. Carr had told me it was a book imported from England, so I decided to try Amazon.co.uk. I found the book easily for 1/2 the price of anywhere here in the States, and new too! It cost me approx. $52 to buy the book, and I got it in less than 4 days. Just a bit of advice when you go to order your books!

The Vasey book should be available from the bookstore soon. The Higson and Maltby book, however, may not be available by the beginning of the semester since it is on backorder. I will schedule readings and made pdfs available accordingly.

Made a few changes to the list of required texts. The title links now go directly to the publishers.

Actually, it wasn't the Vasey book I ordered from England, it was the Higson and Maltby.

Yes, the bookstore also is getting the Higson and Maltby book from England as well.

I would suggest www.dealoz.com (it used to be called campusi.com). This is from their website: "We search over 200 online bookstores to find millions of books and prices. We find the best deals on any new & used books and textbooks. Save money by comparing prices before you buy."
They have the Higson book for $24.94 (including shipping) and the Vassey book for 13.96.
Just so everyone knows!
I use this every semester and have rarely spent more than $100 for books...
